Gangtok:1st July:On the occasion of Sikkim Paryavaran Parva–2026, which will be observed for two weeks from 1st July to 14th July, I earnestly appeal to all students, youth, and the respected people of Sikkim to actively participate in this campaign with enthusiasm and commitment.
This is an important opportunity to express our gratitude towards Mother Earth and nature, which bless us with life, clean air, oxygen, water, and greenery. I humbly urge every citizen to make a meaningful contribution, however small, towards protecting our environment by taking part in activities such as tree plantation, cleanliness drives, environmental awareness programmes, and conservation initiatives, thereby demonstrating our collective responsibility and dedication towards nature.
With heartfelt appeal to all, let us come together to make love, care, and responsibility towards nature an integral part of our lives. Let us strengthen our resolve to build a greener, cleaner, beautiful, and sustainable Sikkim and collectively express our gratitude to Mother Nature.
I sincerely call upon everyone to join hands in this noble endeavour and celebrate our shared commitment towards preserving the environment for generations to come.
