23rd Oct:All the Farmers across India should be happy to know that now Country is exporting Pomegranates from Kullu, Himachal Pradesh.
Today itself 1.3 metric tons of Sindoori Pimegranates have been exported to Dubai on United Arab Emirates.
Union Minister ,Commerce & Industries,Piyush Goyal, appreciated Sweetness of Kullu’s Pomegranates reacheing Dubai ,United Arab Emirates. ‘This initiative connects local produce with global markets is a significant step towards increasing farmers income and taking Indian agri export to new heights’, according to Minister Goyal.
650 boxes of 2 kg each have been sent,as per reliable sources.
However ,its is an encouraging step for small farmers.Already exported items included, Apricots, Cherries,Blue Berries, Peaches,plums and a few more from the Orchards@ Piyush Goyal # exports
