Rongli: 08 Sept: In times of crisis, humanity knows no borders.A 13-member team of the RN Road All Taxi Drivers Welfare Association, Rongli, led by its President Sabinay Rai,has departed from Sikkim for Nepal to extend humanitarian assistance to people affected by the recent devastating floods.
The team is carrying relief supplies collected through a fundraising campaign organised by the Association to support flood-affected families in Nepal. The campaign received generous support from schools, WDS, religious organisations, Samaj organisations, driver associations and individuals, who came forward and contributed towards the relief effort.
The Association expressed its gratitude to everyone who supported the campaign and helped turn the initiative into a collective humanitarian effort. The contributions, regardless of their size, reflect the spirit of compassion, solidarity and humanity that connects communities across borders.
The RN Road All Taxi Drivers Welfare Association has also been actively involved in social service and humanitarian relief initiatives in the past and has consistently stepped forward whenever communities have faced difficult times.
The delegation comprises President Sabinay Rai and 12 other members, who are travelling to Nepal to personally hand over the collected relief materials to those affected by the floods.

Association hopes that this small effort will provide some relief and comfort to families who have suffered losses and are going through a difficult period.
