Fake News :Permission to file news should not be for all?
Gangtok,Amit Patro , Proprietor,Sikkim Express one of the 3 panelists discussing Fake News,at PIB’s media workshop said ‘the main reason fake News takes place is people aspiring to go in for Breaking News.Now the era of breaking news is giving way to Fake News.Just everyone should not be allowed to disseminate news .Digital media policy should be there.’
Patro added, ‘ It’s our duty as Journalists to expose fake News.Most of Digital media houses are sponsored.And the sponsors have vested interests.One should ensure if the source of news is authentic.Source is very important.We always check it..
