Gangtok, 22 Aug: Member of Parliament from Sikkim, Dr. Indra Hang Subba, met the Chief Engineer of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) at the BRO Headquarters in Gangtok to discuss matters concerning connectivity in North Sikkim.
During the meeting, Dr. Subba discussed the challenges related to road connectivity in the region and the need for strengthening and improving road infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable and all-weather connectivity.
The meeting also focused on the importance of timely execution and maintenance of road infrastructure in North Sikkim, considering the region’s strategic significance as well as the needs of the local population.
Dr. Subba reiterated his commitment to working closely with the BRO and relevant authorities to address connectivity-related concerns and facilitate better infrastructure for the people of North Sikkim, according to communique issued by the Office of the MP Lok Sabha, Sikkim .
