Flash floods in Nepal around 8.30 am-
Many people in Nepal – Tibet borders missing. Authorities have rushed to quick rescue operations. It is being claimed that it is due to landslide blocking the river and creating a different route. Or caused by Glacial Lake Outburst,oe probably Hydel Power station gor damaged.
However 6000+ have been reported missing as per NG data so far. Indian tourists, Australian, Netherlands ‘, Malaysian, South African, British and from Nepal itself.
Bhotekoshi river flows from Tibet to Nepal and further towards Bihar and UP.
Rasuwa distt has been most affected on their border. Many houses, bridges, offices and roads have been swept away.
Pilgrims to Mount Kailash are missing. Army .Police and Workers are among those missing .Hydro power plants markets ,network nothing left in Rasuva.It cant be less than GLOF.India has sent 10 tonns of relief material instantly.
However there are no reports from Tibet even over electronic media.
