Gangtok:6thJuly: ‘Bhanu Jayanti ‘ will be organised in Two phases on 13th July, as usual.
President,Nepali Sahitya Parishad ,Hari Dhungel announced here today.that the First phase of programme will start at ‘Bhanu Udyan’, ( Bhanu Park ). Governor Om Prakash Mathur, the Chief Guest and Minister RDD Arun Upreti, Guest of Honour will offer garland at the Statue of pioneering poet Bhanu Bhakta. Followed by others.
Subsequently,the ceremonial procession,will start from there and end at Manan Kendra .It will move via MLA hostel -Tibet road- turn down from near Taxi stand towards Titanic and then Manan kendra.
Prestigious Bhanu Puruskar will be given at Manan Kendra followed by other awards.
General Secretary NESAP Bhim Raut,said the during the Second phase programme at Manan Kendra Minister Arun Upreti Minister RDD will be the Chief Guest and give away the awards”
This year’s Slogan is ‘ Bhasha hamro Sabhyata: Bhesh bhusha hamro sanskriti.’
NESAP has been organising the Bhanu Jayanti birth anniversary of Poet BB Acharya since Parishad’s establishment.The authorities have invited all to make the celebrations a grand success.
