Submbit Entries for Manuscript Award 2026-27 : Pravin Rai Jumeli Prez Sikkim Akademy
Gangtok:15th Oct: Prez Sikkim Akademy Pravin Rai Jumeli, announced ‘Manuscript Award 2026-27 here today. Rai said, ‘ Only unpublished work will be accepted .History, Tradition ,Art ,Culture and Critical, manuscripts will be given priority. Novels, Stories and Poetry will not be of importance but writers may send.’
Prez Rai added, ‘The manuscripts will be entertained by Akademy in Nepali, Hindi and English languages. Last date for entry is 30th October 2027.Jury will be selecting First & Second manuscripts for cash prize and publication. Those who enter there manuscripts this time will not be eligible next time.’
General Secretary SA,Purna Yonjon endorsed all the points made by Rai.In addition to that he informed,’That its to give opportunity as well as throw challenge to writers that Akademy has launched this award The best on the basis of quality and as per the yardstick adopted by Akademy would get award . Anyone entering the competition is required to send the manuscript on A4 size of paper with 200 – 250 Pages.It should be done as per guidelines and preceded by proof reading done thrice.Students ,teachers ,writers and researchers would be eligible .If anyone wants Phd paper to be sent he/ she will have to rewrite it.
