Gangtok:14th May: Two day long 3rd edition of Sikkim Kalakar Bharosa Sammelan has started here, today at Manan Kendra.
Minister Culture and Health GT Dhungel in Chief Guest, inaugurated the programme, joined by Madam Krishna Rai, Guest of Honour.
The programme by Sikkim Culture & Hermitage Dev Board, led by Chairman Sanjay Dilpal Rai, had presence of eminent actors from Nepal,+900 local artists, Film Directors from Sikkim.
Winners – Runners Up of Sikkim Idol different seasons performed for entertainment.
Actors from Nepal including Sandeep Chettri and Karishma Mahanand hlighligted the way artists emerge due to passion and intetest. ‘Their efforts of reaching heights should not be called struggle , its the process, ‘ said Chettri.
Earlier Resource Persons who conducted master classes related to art & culture, film making , copy rights were felicitated.
