Gangtok:20th July : The part 4 of the 11th Sikkim Legislative Assembly session , has started today. All the Legislators attired in Lepcha ethnic costume, in compliance to the request of Sikkim Legislative Assembly Speaker M N Sherpa. Who has urged the Legislators to wear Lepcha dress on the First day, Bhuria on 2 nd an’d Nepali on the 3rd day .While on the. 4 th day own dress. That gave the legislative assembly a new look.

CM announced a scheme for Farmers.Under this they will be able to get loan with 7 percent interest.Those who pay back on time they will be given 3 %waiver.Those who pay within prescribed period will get further concession. ‘It will reduce rhe cost ,help small and marginal fatmers.It is aimed at benefit to grassroots’,said CM.This was welcomed by the Legislature thumping on the desks.
CM also announced ,that prevention of Cervical cancer among women will be dealt with
HPV vaccination ,will be given to 1.50 Lakh beneficiaries. In case of any complication it will be sent for further diagnosis.
