Gangtok 27th Oct :SDF party Chelli Morcha ,has submitted a memorandum to the Chairperson ,Sikkim State Women’s Commission & Police ,
appealing for action against alleged Online sexual harassment and threats to female opposition members in Sikkim,including
Ms. Yojna Rai,one of the Spokespersons of the Sikkim Democratic Front Party .She has been allegedly ‘subjected to multiple instances of cyber
harassment, including rape threats and sexually explicit comments on her
Facebook profile since 18th October, 2025.’ They have also reminded concerned authorities about other member of party Reema Chapaghai,Gyalshing ,who had lodged a GD regarding online harassment etc in September 2025.
The Chelli Morcha( women front) has requested for strict action.They have also named the facebook pages regarding the above.
