Gangtok:18th May:Chief Electoral Officer Raj Kumar Yadav,has announced that while the process of SIR begins from 20th,including preparation ,training & printing, house to house visit of BLOs rationalization of polling stations publication of draft ER followed by filing of objections and claims, no names will be deleted wm from draft roll without giving hearing opportunity to Elector. Electors whose details match with E Roll of 2002 ,will not be given any further notice. Notice will be served through BLOs to all unmapped Electors or Electors whose details do not match with the E-Roll of last SIR, ‘
According to CEO Yadav in documents of the elector will be checked by ERO during ‘Hearing of claims and Objectipns’. Elwctor will be required to give signed papers during hearing. It will be uploaded by BLOs on ECI NET portal. ‘
Aggrieved will get opportunity for two levels of sppeal at DEO level and CEO level.
So all eligible need to come up with correct information.NN
