Siliguri:19th Aug : MP Darjeeling,Raju Bista ‘assured standing with the minority communities and serve to ensure their genuine concerns get attention’.He was speaking to the 20-member delegation of the Joint Forum Pahad-Tarai Christian Welfare Organisation ,who called on him at his office in Siliguri.
MP Bista, thanked the Organisation representatives for sharing their concerns. During the interaction, Forum President ,Ramesh Gurung highlighted various issues, challenges and needs faced by Christian congregations and communities across the hills and Terai. The delegation also urged that the concerns and welfare of minority communities be given due consideration in keeping with the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”
MP stressed that Development and justice must reach every section of society without discrimination.
‘Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari ,we will continue to work for inclusive development for all caste, class, religion and ethnicities, ‘ said MP Raju Bista.
