Gangtok:InternationalMany Gangtokians were a part of International Tea Day celebrations today. The celebrations were matked by a premium Tea outlet ‘ Golden Tips’ serving Sikkim’ popular Temi Tea to people . It also created awareness among tourists regarding Sikkim’s own Temi Tea. Manager Somen Paul said ‘ there are different types of Tea leaves available but customers cpme looking for Temi Tea.’
The theme for 2026 ITD day is ‘fosteting growth and inclusiveness’.Aiming at encouraging support to Tea farmers, promote production , livelihood and better future.
