Gangtok:13th Aug : CM PS Tamang,attended the 19-Rhenock Constituency Level 80th Independence Day celebrations held at Government Senior Secondary School, Mamring.
CM described the programme as the ‘vibrant cultural programme presented by the talented students on the special occasion.’
Addressing the gathering he highlighted the various initiatives undertaken by his Government in the health sector and the assistance extended to patients in need. He further assured the organising committee that their requests for the further development and improvement of the school will be taken up in the coming days.’
CM assured, that’ he will soon be visiting the constituency as part of the Jan Bhet Karyakram, where he will meet people to address their genuine concerns, and extend all possible assistance and support.’
CM also witnessed the final match of the Late Chandralal Bastola and Dhanmaya Bastola Memorial Under-14 Football Tournament and the second semi-final of the Late Haricharan Sapkota and Chayadevi Sapkota Memorial Open Football Tournament.
CM PS Tamang has appealed to everyone ‘ to join the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign tomorrow and proudly hoist the Tricolour in support of the nation. He also extended warmest wishes to everyone as State looks forward to celebrating the 80th Independence Day of our nation.’
