Gangtok:20thApril:High Court of Sikkim, has started a Creche for children of their employees .
The Creche inaugurated by Chief Justice ,is available for the employees of High Court.
A beautifully decorated room, well equipped with a caretaker is First of its kind attached to any Court in Sikkim.
A big number of employees,advocates and others attached to the Court are getting the advantage of Children being taken care of while they work undisturbed without worrying about them.
According to Court sources , on certain weekdays Children are free earlier than parents are, with no one to take care at home . Under such circumstances it is very helpful to let children stay at the Creche.The staff at Creche takes care of them .Two staff members have been specially trained by Social Welfare Deptt to do their best.
Other Courts in Sikkim are also expected to provide such facility to their employees in the long run, depending on feasibility.
Here,it is pertinent to inform that the efforts of Judiciary and the step taken is expected to enhance productivity, output of services given by
employees and of course early disposal of the cases .
