Gangtok: 25th Sept:’ Oxygen supply in STNM hospital strained yesterday afternoon till this afternoon (24th n 25 th Sep 2026) as both the Oxygen plant crashed. However the 500 liter Oxygen plant was repaired last evening and working and the 1000 liter oxygen plant shall be ready by today evening as parts are arriving shortly,’ said Health authorities.
‘Therefore supply of medical air without the Oxygen plant was strained since yesterday because of 100 percent bed occupancy in the ICU and HDU.’
- ‘We are maintaining the Oxygen cylinder stock through continuous procurement and normal status will be restored once the 1000 liter plant is repaired by today evening.’
There is no reason that the public should be worried regarding this matter,’ according to communique issued by STNM Hospital, Sochakgang, Gangtok.
