Dentam :8th July Minister,Rural Development inaugurated the newly constructed 30-metre Bailey Bridge over Dentam Khola ( river) under Maneybong Dentam Constituency, Gyalshing District( West Sikkim ) on Tuesday.He was accompanied by the area MLA-cum-Advisor Tourism & Civil Aviation, Sudesh Kumar Subba, Zilla Up-Adhyaksha, senior officials, and other dignitaries.
‘The bridge on the Rural Connectivity Road , linking Dentam–Pelling SPWD Road to Legship via Mangaon–Martam will greatly improve connectivity, access to essential services, and ease of travel for the people of the region’,said Minister .
‘Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay, we are committed to strengthening rural infrastructure and building a Sunaulo, Samriddha ani Samartha Sikkim’,added Minister. .
Minister Upreti ,urged the public and Panchayati Raj Institutions to work together for the vision of Viksit Sikkim and Viksit Bharat.
Upreti,congratulated the Rural Development Department and all stakeholders for completing the project on time.
