‘Asar 15 is a day of farmers’ symbol of labour, dedication, entertainment, unity among each other, integrity, friendship and hope. This day is also a golden opportunity to honor the tireless hard work of farmers, preserve agricultural culture and recall the commitment of agriculture society towards agriculture amidst the busyness of hiloali and paddy planting. On this auspicious occasion, the tradition of eating curd-chiura is strengthening our original culture, social harmony and sense of collectiveness.’

CM Tamang ,has highlighted Govt’s agriculture sector programme.’Our government has been continuously striving for modernization of agricultural sector, expansion of irrigation facilities, access to quality seeds and technology, promotion of organic farming and the development of agricultural entrepreneurship by centering the welfare of farmers. Our government is also committed to building a new foundation of rural economy and prosperity by connecting agriculture and tourism by attracting our young generation to agriculture.’
