Gangtok:24th May: Monks from different monasteries of Sikkim and Bhutan brought mortal remains of Dodrupchen Rinpochey from Lukshyama to Choryen , Deorali, today. He attained Mahaparinirvana in 2022 ,since then his mortal remains were preserved in Lukshyama. Now those have been brought to be preserved here, in chorten.
As per reports he has been reincarnated in China and identified too.
The religious procession was led by Minister for Ecclesiastical Affairs Sonam Lama. Chief Minister PS Tamang also took blessings .
