
Gangtok:17th May: CM PS Tamang,has shared his impressions of VP’s visit to Sikkim.He says, ‘During his departure from Sikkim, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan planted a Rhododendron sapling, State tree of Sikkim, at Lok Bhavan premises this morning in the gracious presence of GovernorOm Prakash Mathur’.
‘We were truly honoured by the visit of the Vice President during the Statehood Day celebrations. His words describing Sikkim as a model of harmony, sustainability, disciplined living, and “organic not only in agriculture but also in character” are a matter of immense pride for the people of our State.’
