Gangtok 17th May: After a very pleasant brief stay at Gangtok, on the occasion of 51st Statehood Day of Sikkim , Vice President CP Radhakrishnan, returned to Delhi.
VP travelled to Bagdogra airport from Gangtok via alternative route to NH-10.Vice President,stopped on the way in Mangpu at an altitude of 3700 ft.and ‘ admired the natural beauty as well appreciating the river Tista flowing down the hill.
VP has expressed confidence that Govt of West Bengal, will further enhance the tourism infrastructures and work towards Viksit Bengal. ‘
