Shape of Momo to Premiere on 28th May
Gangtok: 27th May :Shape of Momo , a feature film in Nepali language to be screened here!
A young alumna of Satyajit Ray Film &TV Institute, Tribeni Rai has said ‘,The film was directed by her and the script was also written by her. Her mother is the producer of the movie.’
While Film Director Rai utlised all her fund , her mother also Producer of the film Geeta Rai contributed .The film shot in rural Sikkim , received post production help from CM PS Tamang,who gave put from his discretionary fund.Tribeni has expressed gratitude to him.
However,Shape of Momo with awards galore to its credit outside State, is now going to have its Sikkim premiere on Thursday with Chief Minister as the Chief Guest.
So, it appears to be time for everyone to get equipped with Pop Corns and Chips to watch the movie,to know what Shape of Momo conveys about Women,Traditions ,Age Old peoblems pur forward with innovative ideas and new thpught process by Sikkim’s own daughter.
