Gangtok,25th March: Spokesperson SDF MN Dahal,has said that they do not favour Reviving of Project( Teesta Urja ).After the Teesta Urja dam was damaged by the South Lhonak Glacial Lake Outburst Flood , rehabilitation of dislocated has not been done.Before,project starts again in Sikkim Democratic Front party asks for rehabilitation.’
‘ Despite many lapses the Teesta Urja Power project,was generating revenue .But,now we want Govt to conduct an inquiry into the bursting of Dam.’
Dahal, alleged irregularities,including scam of Rs 1900 Crores of sum from Power Project ,which has not been recorded ;as also projected in CAG report.He asked for Inquiry Commission for the same.And stressed on action to be taken against the guilty.
