Gangtok:5th Jan: Sikkim State youth contingent,was accorded send off by CM PS Tamang here on Monday.The SS youth contingent includes those who have been selected to participate in the National Round of the National Youth Festival, ‘Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026.’ It brings together young leaders from across the country.He wished success to the contingent.
CM PS Tamang has said ,’It is a matter of great pride for our State that our young representatives have been chosen from among more than 50 lakh participants nationwide to be part of this prestigious national platform. The Sikkim delegation comprises a total of fiftyone (51) youth participants, accompanied by six (6) official escorts, representing the State at the national level.’
CM has extended sincere appreciation to Dr Mansukh Mandaviya , Union Minister for Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, ‘for his encouragement and continued support in providing such an inspiring opportunity for the youth of our country. This initiative truly reflects the Government of India’s commitment to empowering young minds and engaging them directly in shaping the vision of a Viksit Bharat.’
CM Tamang ,said ,’I am confident that they will uphold the pride of our State and contribute meaningfully to the national dialogue by presenting innovative ideas before the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’ .
CM added , ‘ I encouraged our young leaders to remain confident, disciplined, and focused, and to carry forward the values of hard work, integrity, and inclusiveness. Such platforms nurture leadership and also strengthen the role of youth as active partners in nation-building.’
