Gangtok:5thAug:Minister for Roads and Bridges, Nar Bahadur Dahal, visited the landslide affected 20th mile on the National Highway-10. Followed by the alternative route via Duga , Minister also took stock of route connecting Adarsh bridge via Mamring bridge.
Walking barefoot, through the muddy – swampy landslide hit ,under repairs road , Dahal directed the NHIDCL to complete the process fast.He has also directed Roads and Bridges Deptt to do the repairs under their jurisdiction speedily,as CM PS Tamang, does nt want public to suffer . Public is expected to assemble at Rangpo for the Aama Samman Diwas’ on 10th August’26.
Minister,Dahal has directed the NH-10 authorities and State Deptt to carry out the repairs at war footing and restore the road within 2 days,to avoid any trouble to public.
