Gangtok:25th July: Sikkim Powerlifting Association is gearing up for a big event here. Treasurer Ranjeet Sharma ,has annouced, ‘ the 6th Iron Power Man & Woman Championship. will be held at Nar. Bahadur College Tadung, on 25th and 26th September. ‘
About the categories, General Secretary Devendra Basnet , said that they will get Open Powerlifting category and Men & Women category.
Last year there were110 contestants,now 150 are expected.This time all one all Champion will be given Rs 40 Thousand prize money while in Men & Women category Rs 30 Thousand will be given.With the in reased facilities the contestants can warm up in separate space for men and women.
Registration is online with only Rs 3500 fee via the QR given out.The registration process will end before15th September 26.
