23rd May: Prime Minister Natendra Modi, has sent a condolence message on the accidental death of mine workers in China to the President Xi Jinping.In his message, PM has said , ‘Saddened by the loss of lives in a mining accident in Shanxi Province in China. On behalf of the people of India, my condolences to President Xi Jinping and the people of China. May the bereaved families find strength in this tragic hour. Praying for the early and safe recovery of all remaining missing persons.’
It is pertinent to mention here that on Friday due to gas explosion in Liushenyu Coal Mine 90 workers have been reported to be the victims, who lost their life. According to media sources emergency response operation is going on. Many have been evacuated , some injured have been hospitalized. But the ERP team is still looking for anyone left out.
