Gangtok:13th Oct: Health & Family Welfare Deptt,has refuted certain news item that appeared in media( based on a press release by certain party).The authorities have said ,’It has come to the notice of the Health & Family Welfare Department that certain allegations have been circulated on social media regarding the “Repair of Machong PHC Doctor’s Quarter ”
‘In this regard, the Department would like to clarify that no such work has been sanctioned by the Health & Family Welfare Department, as alleged in the social media posts.’
‘The Department expresses concern over the circulation of unverified information, which may create unnecessary confusion among the public and adversely affect the morale of the healthcare officials who are working tirelessly to provide better healthcare services to the people.’
‘The Department strongly urges to verify facts from the concerned authorities before circulating or sharing any such information. The dissemination of misleading or unsubstantiated allegations is highly objectionable and may unnecessarily undermine public confidence in the Department and the Government.’
‘The Health & Family Welfare Department remains committed to transparency, accountability, and the continuous improvement of healthcare services for the welfare of the public.’
