Gangtok,Union Minister of State for External Affairs,Pabitra Margherita,currently in Sikkim to celebrate 11 years of PM Narendra Modi Govt and of course the achievements,enumerated the milestones established in each sector.At the programme hosted by BJP Sikkim ,here party President Sikkim State DR Thapa and executive members,Dinesh Chandra Nepal Phempo Bhutia, Passang G Sherpa and Niren Bhandari were also actively present.
‘@11 years we have experienced progress ‘due to Modi’s vision.Its not only progress but transformation,’ stressed MoS.
“We experienced resurgence of India,in every region through ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas,’ said the MoS reflecting upon the 11 years journey of Govt under PM Narendra Modi.And he also highlighted ‘Naari Shakti’, empowering women in the country. He attributed the progress and all the remarkable programmes to PM Modi.The organisers also distributed pamphlets and Books on 11 years .How Govt has been successful in growth,peace ,progress and development.
Women have been made owners of Lakhs described as ‘Lakhpati Diddis”.
Govt has mobilised 10crore women mobilised into Self Help Groups,with a target to make 3 crore Lakhpati Didis. Maternity leave period has been increased.
According to BJP Rs 18593 crore have been distributed to 3.98 crore pregnant women under PM MV Yojna.Rs 14.72 Lakh crore Mudra Loan provided to women.
Mos also appreciated Govt’s system of payment ie DTB wher the money goes directly to the account of the beneficiary.
Earlier ,Passang G Sherpa ,one of the Spokespersons in his introductory address ,referred to the conference as a pleasant and momentous occasion of 11 years journey of success of PM Modi’s Govt.
