Gangtok:20th Sept: U-tsang Asdociation joined by STNM Sochakgang hospital doctors organized a blood donation camp , here at MG Marg today for Nepal flash flood victims and others.
Aamji la ( Tibetan Doctor) representing Men-Tsee Khang, Tibetan .medical and Astro Institute,Chanbari ,here examined patients.He had another doctor to help .
On the orher hand STNM deputed a doctor with technicians for blood collection.People voluntarily donated blood.
According to organising Men-Tsee khang ,’ It was a dolemn commemoration and blood donation drive.
‘ Its for Nepal flood victims and freedom fighters.We have tied up with STNM.The blood collected today will be first sent to STNM hospital.Later it will be sent to Nepal to help out thise in need of blood.’
Its well known that due to flash floods in Trishuli river in Nepal on August 26th lots of damage has been done. So all have been worried on humanity basis cash medicines. food and now blood is being sent.
