Gangtok/ Baneshwar Jote: 7th Jan: MP Darjeeling Raju Bista, visited the Indo-Bangladesh BSF Border Outpost at Baneshwar Jote in Phansidewa, Darjeeling. He was joined by the MLA Phansidewa in Durga Murmu.
MP said , ‘This outpost has played a significant role in maintaining security amidst challenging terrains.The Border Security Force (BSF) plays an indispensable role in safeguarding India’s frontiers, standing as the first line of defense against infiltration, smuggling, and cross-border threats.
‘ I deeply appreciate the courage and dedication of our BSF jawans, who operate in harsh conditions to protect our nation’s integrity and promote harmonious relations with neighboring countries,’ added MP.
