Gangtok:16th August: ‘Teesta Rangit Aviral Pruskar’,2025 has been resented to Journalist Sanjeev Lama.
Lama,has been serving in the field since 1997 ,here He has been contributing to Prajashakri,Himalibela Bela and Hamro Varta from time to time.Sanjeeb Lama has been running Himalibela Sikkim,a weekly newspaper as it’s owner since 1997.
Lama is Third recipient of TRA award ,in the series ,First being Anand Oberoi (2023)and Second Chetan Gajmere(2024).The award instituted in 2023 is given tto those having made significant contributions to the field of Journalism in Sikkim.The award carries Rs 1,01000 and a citation.
Sanjeeb Lama has thanked the Chief Minister PS Tamang and the State Govt.And has said he has been further invigorated by the recognition of his hard work.’I will continue to work in the field ,with greater responsibility.My Journalistic Journey has been progressing for last 28 years, like the holy rivers Teesta and Rangit keep flowing despite challenges,difficulties and instructions,’added Lama.NN.
