Gangtok:12th Sept :A ‘Kavi Goshthi’ was hosted at Nepali Sahitya Parishad,here today .
A poetry session presided over by Hari Dhungel, President Nepali Sahitya Parishad,saw 6 young student participants.Upasana Sharma,Suman Darnal,Avigel Rai,Davina Rai,Jeewan Chettri and Vimla Chettri.
Budding poet,Suman Darnal from Khanchenjungha University, Sikkim, recited a very touching poem ‘Aama’, at ‘Kavi Goshthi’, Nepali Sahitya Parishad, today. The programme was organised jointly by Sahitya Akademy, New Delhi and Nepali Sahitya Parishad , Sikkim. Prez NESAP presided over the session. Addressing the gathering he said all the poems were of required standard and was happy that different emotions were covered.
Prominent among giests included in Prof(rtd) Rudra Paudyal,Pempa Tamang ex Present Sahitya Akademy Sikkim Pempa Tamang,Author Amer Bania Lohoro,Ratna Subba Luxsum amd a few others.
Member of the Advisory Board Nepali language,New Delhi cum Deputy Director IPR ,GS Subba, welcomed the guests while Executive member NESAP,Kuber Bisht proposed the vote of thanks.
