11th Aug:Trade has become further convenient by Samrang, Udlagiri distt, Assam as the ‘additional exit point for Bhutan’s bilateral amd third country trade.’
Govt of India has notified Land Cutoms Station at Samrang,through the authorised zone,which includes Rangia-Tamulpur-Dimakuchi motorable road from Samrang ( India) to Samrang ( Bhutan).
Bhutan has encouraged the concerned including exporters and importers to ‘ use the additional LCD to enhance economic activities and boost trade’, a notification regarding this has also been issued by Deptt of Trade Ministry of Industries, Commerce and Employment, Royal Govt of Bhutan.
