Gangtok:10th Aug:Sikkim celebrated 2nd ‘Aama Samman’ Diwas’, with CM PS Tamang, as the Chief Guest. The prog hosted by Women and Child Welfare Deptt, in Rangpo saw huge public gathering and presence of Legislators, officers .
Honouring Women CM gave away First Installment of Aama Sashktikaran amount of Rs 20 Thousand to the eligible women.
The finacial assistance and awards were announced for women beneficiaries ,including+ 74050 females better categorised as aamas ( mothers).Besides these sefie prize was also given out.
