Gangtok:25th June :Temi Tea Garden has been producing finest Organic Tea. The Managing Director Radha Pradhan, aspires to make the estate self sustainable. Speaking to this reporter she disclosed, ‘The Garden would be made self -sustainable within 2-3 years.
MD Pradhan has brought abput a big change by substituting charcoal chimney by LPG oven./ kiln.’ This is the biggest conversion in the manufacturing unit here.A big shift from charcoal to LPG.It also conserves environment.But ,one charcoal chimney is still not removed keeping in view the ongoing wars,affecting LPG .LPG is cost saving also.
MD said her vision is to make CTC also available.But the project will take another 6-7 months.Besides this , her vision is to produce Ready to Drink ,tea pouches and sachets. Matcha and Kombucha are in the pipeline .
Chairman RK Waling and MD Radha are dedicated to make CM PS Tamang’s vision of Sunaulo ,Smridha and Samarth Sikkim ,while making Smridha Temi Tea Garden.
