Gangtok:19th June :Sikkim State BJP has started Two day Public Welfare Camp at MG Marg , here, in coordination with ruling SKM.
‘We have been giving Ayushman Bharat Card (s) to public.As also e-Shram cards.There are 2 categories of ABCards one is for 70 years and above while other is for BPL,’ said Niren Bhandari.
The functionaries also generated awareness about the ‘Jan Kalyan Yojna’ ( Public Welfare Schemes).The main schemes where women gathered included ,Jan dhan yojna,Mudra loan, Pension scheme,Lakhpati didi ,Ujwalla( LPG) yojna and many others.
According to the organisers of ,Sikkim has joined the nationwide observance marking the completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led Governmen. The Bharatiya Janata Party, Sikkim, in coordination with the State Government and concerned stakeholders, hosted the First day of Jan Kalyan Shivir at M.G. Marg, Gangtok, successfully today ,from 10:00 AM to 4 AM.The initiative aims to facilitate greater public access to flagship welfare schemes of the Government of India and ensure that eligible beneficiaries are able to avail themselves of the benefits provided under various social security and development programmes.
During the camp, enrolment assistance was provided for the Ayushman Bharat – PM Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) and e-Shram Registration.
Senior citizens aged 70 years and above, as reflected in their Aadhaar Card, as well as eligible Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) ration card holders, are being registered for Ayushman benefits. They only need to show their Aadhaar Card and Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
Similarly, workers from the unorganised sector aged 16 to 59 years, including construction workers, drivers, domestic workers, street vendors, agricultural labourers, artisans, delivery personnel and other self-employed workers, are also being registered under the e-Shram portal .They too have to produce only their Aadhaar Card, Aadhaar-linked mobile number, bank account details and occupation information.
Apart from enrolment services, the Jan Kalyan Shivir is also providing guidance and awareness support regarding several flagship schemes of the Government of India, including PM Mudra Yojana, Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), PM Vishwakarma, PM SVANidhi, PM-KISAN, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY) and other welfare initiatives.
BJP Sikkim ,is helping out all eligible beneficiaries and aspiring individuals from Gangtok and nearby areas attending the camp with the required documents.They have appealed to one and all to visit the Camp on 20th also and take advantage of the opportunity to access information, guidance and benefits under various Central Government schemes.
