Gangtok:28th April: PM Narendra Modi,congratulated people of Sikkim on the Golden Jubilee of Statehood.
Addressing the public during the closing ceremony of an year long Golden Jubilee celebrations, at Palhor Stadium , here today PM Modi appreciated the 50 years journey of State.

PM appreciated the lifestyle ,’ You have sustainable life styles.Organic farming which is a model for whole India.’
PM Modi lauded the ‘ Mero Rukh Mero Santati’ programme here ,the brain child of CM PS Tamang as never done even throughout the world,i. e . planting 108 Saplings at the birth of a child in any family – taking care of it in the long run. ‘
PM said, ‘ We have to use Sikkim’s Clean Energy . We have pledged Act Fast fpr NE now. For Sikkim’ s development no corner will be left untouched, ‘ added PM.
