PM Narendra Modi Arrives in Sikkim :CM PS Tamang Welcomes
Gangtok:27th April: PM Narendra Modi is in Sikkim for Two day visit.He is here for Valedictory of Yearlong Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Sikkim’s Statehood. CM PS Tamang received the PM at Libing helipad. From VC Ganju Lama Dwar to Lok Bhawan he was accompanied by CM and Sikkim State BJP President DR Thapa , during his road show. Public lined up on either sides of the road got happy to see PM ,wearing Lepcha hat waving at them and smiling. He was greeted by sounds of ‘Modi – Modi’ echoing in this part of Himalayas.
People were happy that finally ‘ Modi ji’ could reach Sikkim by Chopper from Bahdogra ,even if it was in Two attepts today afternoon.
Many VIPs including MPs Sambit Patra and Raju Bista also are on a two day visit to participate in the official programmes.
In 2025 PM could not make it to Sikkim due to Inclement weather conditions ;and this rime also it was getting cloudy – misty and then clearing again and again.
On Tuesday PM is scheduled to inaugurate- unveil projects worth about Rs 4000 crores, virtually. He will be visiting Orchidariam followed by Public Meeting at Paljor Stadium, bwfore departing for the next destination.
