Gangtok,18th June :Sikkim CM PS Tamang called on Vice President of IndiA in in in the capital.He said,’ It was an honor to meet the Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar ,in New Delhi today. During our meeting, I had the privilege of presenting him with a commemorative souvenir, a ₹50 silver coin, and a specially issued postage stamp, all launched to mark the Golden Jubilee of Sikkim’s statehood’ .
CM has also extended a formal invitation to VP Dhankhar ,to visit Sikkim and address State legislators and students, sharing his insights and experiences with the community,here.
Subsequently,CM met Kiren Rijiju , the Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs of India, in New Delhi .He presented the commemorative coin and stamp to VP , released to mark the 50th anniversary of Sikkim’s integration with the Indian Union.
‘ During our meeting, we also engaged in a meaningful exchange of ideas on the development and progress of our region. It is always a pleasure to interact with Rijiju ,’said CM Tamang.
