Gangtok:27th June: MLA Pamin Lepcha , attended the Lepcha Officers’ Get-Together & Lunch held at Luing Garden.She has described it as ‘ a meaningful gathering organized to strengthen unity, promote fellowship, and foster greater collaboration among members of the Lepcha community serving in various capacities.’
The programme provided a valuable platform for officers, public representatives, and distinguished members of the community to interact, exchange ideas, and reaffirm our shared commitment towards the welfare, progress, and preservation of the rich heritage and identity of the Lepcha community. Such initiatives play an important role in building stronger bonds, encouraging mutual support, and inspiring collective efforts for the betterment of future generations.
Former Minister,Kunga Nima Lepcha presently Advisor to the Chief Minister, was as the Chief Guest. He was joined by Minister Samdup Lepcha, Minister Pintso Namgyal Lepcha, MLA-cum-Advisor Delay N. Barfungpa, MLA Erung T. Lepcha, along with senior officers, officials, community representatives, and other guests.
MLA has appreciated the organizers for bringing everyone together through the thoughtful initiative. ‘May such gatherings continue to strengthen our unity, encourage cooperation, and inspire us to work collectively for the inclusive development, prosperity, and enduring legacy of the Lepcha community,’ concluded MLA P Lepcha.
Lepchas are the ethnic people of Sikkim.
