Gangtok:30th May: A bussiness found using the brand name of ex partners has been ordered to be sealed by BAC. The Himalayan Oxy Enterprise , had been allegedly using Drug licence of Ms Pema Sherpa, Pharmacist since last Three years without her knowledge.’ Mona
Gurung,running the authentic company said,’Earlier my image , being the brand ambassador of our enterprise was seen over their botttles. It was removed by them after the court ordere . Mona Gurung said she was compelled to clarify the situation today as people are getting confused and calling me again and again.
In the meantime Pema had reported the matter and subsequently the BAC issued orders to seal the factory, cessation of licence of Trio including Two govt employees and one female ,and ordered to stop production also
Mona Gurung has also reported against the HOE singbel Makha for using her trademark/ Copyright issue.
However,she alleged that the product is duplicated.It is filled and brought from Delhi ,only stored here and sold outThe licence of Govt servants being renewed due to their power.She has requested authorities to scrutinize licences of all the companies particularly new.
However,observers consider it a serious issue since oxygen is health related and if anything goes wrong it it would be harmful.And without GST + Taxation clearance how could duplicating company go ahead without being noriced by concerned authory. As per rule it is said one name can be used by only one company. nn.
