Gangtok:10th Marcha: President ,BJP Sikkim,Mahila Morcha ,Srijana Chettri ,has condemned alleged midnight high-handedness by a Policeman.
According to her, ‘ A lady vendor selling foodstuff was insulted by a Policeman, by allegedly throwing away her goods/ food items , at night near Police Headquarters.’
BJP Sikkim has appealed to DGP to get the matter investigated and take strict action the Policeman involved.
It is well known that the venue of the incident boasts of lots of vehicles ,including taxies parked along with trucks carrying loads of different kind.And of course the manpower attached.They mostly have tea and snacks sold by street vendors.They also posted videos of the happening on social media.
However,as per sources Police deptt is already looking into the case and justice is expected soon.
