Union Minister Smt. Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya to Visit Sikkim from Oct 15-18, 2025
Gangtok : 24th Oct : Four-Day Visit of Union Minister Smt.N J Bambhaniya to Sikkim starts on 15th October.
Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Smt. Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, is scheduled to arrive in Gangtok on October 15th ’25, for a four-day visit to Sikkim.
On Oct 15, Smt. Bambhaniya will inspect the Food Corporation of India’s Food Storage Depot at Rangpo. Later she will chair a meeting with officials from the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Sikkim, and FCI at Gangtok.
On Oct 16, the Union MoS’s schedule includes field visits to NHIDCL-Road, NH7l7A, Government Primary School Pachey Samsing ICDS Centre, Pakyong, Primary Health Centre, Pakyong, Sanskriti Self Help Group, Pachey, and a Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) site visit to Ms. Ganga Maya Subba’s residence in Titribotey ward, Taza GPU, Pakyong Block. She will also visit the Handloom Training Centre Pacheykhani, JJM Scheme: Augmentation & Retrofitting of RWSS from Nampey Khola to Lower Samsing, and review the Power: RDFS Scheme- Revamp distribution sector scheme networking system, Pakyong to Rorathang. Additionally, she will visit the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana site at Pakyong, Sukman Rai’s farm in Rai Goan, Namcheybong GPU, Namcheybong Block. Smt. Bambhaniya will also review the implementation and progress of centrally sponsored schemes with Pakyong District administration officials.
On Oct 17, the Union Minister is scheduled to meet the Sikkim Chief Minister and Governor of Sikkim.
Before departing Sikkim on October 18, 2025, the Union Minister of State is also expected to attend local programs during her visit,as per info from PIB .
