Union Minister Amit Shah to Visit Sikkim on 26th October
Gangtok,8th Oct: Chief Minister PS Tamang,chaired the coordination meeting at Samman Bhawan for the upcoming visit of Hon’ble Home Minister Amit Shah Ji to Sikkim.
The meeting reviewed the preparations, logistics, and overall programme outline for the visit. Discussions focused on ensuring smooth coordination among departments, timely completion of tasks, and upholding Sikkim’s tradition of warmth and hospitality. Directions were issued to all concerned departments to ensure that the visit and associated events are conducted successfully and seamlessly. The finalisation of the venue will be done at a later stage.
According to CM ,’The visit will include the Rashtriya Sahkari Sammelan–2025 and the virtual inauguration and foundation stone laying of various projects important initiatives that will further accelerate Sikkim’s development journey, strengthen its cooperative movement, and enhance opportunities for growth and prosperity across the State.’
Tentative schedule for the visit of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji in November was also ,discussed and reviewed , including key programmes, logistics, and coordination requirements, to ensure that every arrangement is carefully planned and executed flawlessly’.
