Gangtok,16th Nov: Sikkim Tamang Buddhist Association ,has filed a Complaint against certain Bhaskar Dahal,in Police Station here.
They have alleged that Dahal in a public speech on 8th November was seen in a number of Video posts,challenging to de- schedule the ( Limboo- Tamang) tribes.They have described it as very challenging and have said ‘ the post circulated through social media is highly Objectionable and condemnable.’
‘ Such derogatory remark against Limboo- Tamang of Sikkim is cognizable offence SC/ ST( Poa) Act 3(2)r (a) (v) under Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita.Limboo Association had also filed complaint.’
According to President of STBA,Binod Tamang joined by Adeep Tamang,Police had been requested to take action soon.
It is well known that L-Ts wete accorded Tribal status long back in 2003.
