Gangtok,12th Sept: Speaker & Deputy Speaker Sikkim attending the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Meet ,inaugurated by Speaker Lok Sabha Om Birla ,at Bengaluru for 3 days..
Speaker, Sikkim Legislative Assembly Mingma Norbu Sherpa, Speaker, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Satish Mahana, Speaker, Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly Ritu Khanduri and Speaker, Karnataka Legislative Assembly U.T. Khader Fareed attended the Inaugural Ceremony in their own traditional attire and were felicitated by the host CPA Branch.
As a part of the inaugural session, the dignitaries had to represent their respective States by wearing their traditional dresses and Speakers from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Sikkim were declared as in the best attires they were felicitated by the Speaker, Lok Sabha.
