Gangtok:4th April : SKM Party Spokesperson, Jacob Khaling, emphasised on elections in a democracy. He said any political party’s identity is through elections. Those who dont contest their identity get wiped away. Parties not contesting should keep away from polluting the environment. ‘ He pointed at SDF and CAP without naming them and said. ‘ If you have strength come and contest. The excuses made ( for not fielding) shows they are not there.’
He expressed joy over’ 53 SKM candidates who have won opposed .SKM and BJP are allies at centre and in the state too.So they also contested.We have come out % victorious in ULB elections.However 6seats have been shared with pur allies BJP. We are here to thank CM for his guidance regarding the elections .
Earlier Bikash Basnet Spoke1sperson Introduced MLA Kala ,newly appointed 3 Spokespersons unopposed elected Tshering Doma Nagar Panchayat member and Anjana Sharma, CLC .
He expressed hope that they will continue to serve the people and party.
BJP & SKM alliance and seat sharing ,has put a halt to seat reservation challenge.
