Sikkim State BJP files nomination
Gangtok:30th March: ( Nita Nirash) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sikkim ,has filed six nominations from various urban local bodies across the state on the final day of nomination for the upcoming Sikkim Municipal Elections.
The ULB elections are due on 24th April’2026.And the last date for withdrawal is 4th April ,before that scrutiny on 1 st April.Only SKM and BJP have filed nomination.
In the Gangtok Municipal Corporation, Srijana Chettri filed her nomination from the Diesel Power House ward, while Pempo Dorjee Lepcha submitted his papers from the Tadong ward. In Singtam Nagar Panchayat (Gangtok District), Rajani Singh Cintury filed her nomination from the Pipal Dara ward.
Under Rangpo Nagar Panchayat (Pakyong District), Bhopal Baraily filed from the Mandi Bazar ward.In Namchi District, Sangay Bhutia filed his nomination from the Upper Ghurpisey ward under Namchi Municipal Council, while Naren Subba filed from the Dara Bazar ward under Soreng Nagar Panchayat,’ as per information from Sikkim State BJP, today.
